Brabus, founded in 1977 in Bottrop (Ruhr Area), is a German high-performance car modification company specializing in Mercedes-Benz and Maybach. Founded by Klaus and Bodo Buschmann Brackman in 1977, the brand represents the first three combined letters of their last names.

Brabus is the largest modifier of the Mercedes brand, with the exception of Mercedes-AMG which became a Daimler Chrysler affiliate in the 1990s.
